Volume 33(2) of the JPP is now available online
Today, the Journal of Prisoners on Prisons (JPP) launched Volume 33, Number 2, which is a special issue on “Homelessness and Incarceration” edited by Erin Dej (Wilfrid Laurier University) and Dale Spencer (Carleton University). In addition to articles on the intersection between homelessness and imprisonment, this edition of the journal includes another installment of the dialogue on the Canadian carceral state featuring two articles written by Indigenous writers. The collection also includes a call for contributions for the 49th edition of Prisoners’ Justice Day and artwork by Ronnie Goodman.
Printed copies of the full issue will be available for purchase through the University of Ottawa Press later this spring. Copies will be mailed to issue contributors and journal subscribers in May 2024.
This issue of the JPP is the second of two to be published in 2024. Click here to find out how you can subscribe to the journal. We thank our contributors for continuing to write as resistance, as well as our subscribers and readers for supporting their work.
