VOLUME 12 (2003) is a general issue of the Journal of Prisoners on Prisons dedicated to International Conference on Penal Abolition (ICOPA) founder Ruth Morris, which is edited by Liz Elliott and Jay Jones. The collection features contributions on various issues, including the roll back of human and civil rights in the wake of neo-conservative policies, the relationship between politics and prison, and the expansion of carceral power and the prison industrial complex.
