The author currently teaches on a contract basis at a Canadian university and is the single mother of an amazing teenager full of life and fortitude. She is currently pursuing a law degree and working on two books while awaiting trial. The first book, provisionally entitled Suicide Letters from a Reluctant Criminal, gives an account of her own criminalization. The second book provides a historical and a philosophical analysis of the entwinement of slavery, criminalization and private property.
