Linda Mussell, University of Ottawa

Linda Mussell, PhD lives and works on Haudeonsaunee and Anishanabee territory in Katarokwi/ Cataracoui (Kingston), Ontario. She completed her PhD in Political Studies at Queen’s University and is involved in community work with the Prison for Women (P4W) Memorial Collective, the Abolition Coalition, and the Canadian Coalition for Children with Incarcerated Parents (CCCIP). Her dissertation work was on disrupting intergenerational imprisonment. Linda is currently a SSHRC postdoctoral fellow in the Institute of Feminist and Gender Studies and the School of Political Studies at the University of Ottawa.
