I am a 33-year-old Ojibway-Métis woman. I have been incarcerated since I was 18 years old and I am currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology through Laurentian University. I have been part of the Walls to Bridges (W2B) community since 2015. I believe that the work that W2B does is transformative and life changing. I am passionate about advocating for the voiceless in carceral settings and this piece of work represents that. We are each other’s voice regardless of social standing, gender, culture, religion, orientation, etc.
