Jayne Malenfant, PhD is an Assistant Professor in Social Justice and Community Engaged Education in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education at McGill University. They are a researcher who brings their lived experience into their areas of study, which include the educational experiences of young people and adults navigating homelessness, research leadership by people with lived and living experience of housing precarity, and the experiences of Two-Spirit, trans, and non-binary communities navigating housing precarity.
