Narrativas dominantes en el viaje migrante. Un análisis de El cielo en la cabeza y Adú

This article analyzes the ways in which the comic book El cielo en la cabeza (2023) by Antonio Altarriba, Sergio García, and Lola Moral and the film Adú (2020) by Salvador Calvo articulate a similar migrant experience: that of the child who undertakes a journey from Africa to Europe. This article focuses on how these works carry out an exercise in socially concerned narrative by creating the figure of a migrant characterized by the classic patterns of the hero; namely, the individual who finds himself in the circumstances of carrying out an extraordinary feat for his own good or the good of others.
