Peter Brock is a previous contributor to the JPP (Volume 11) and a Professor Emeritus at the University of Toronto. He served a six-month sentence in Wandsworth and Wormwood Scrubs Prisons in Britain in 1941–1942 as a conscientious objector during World War II.
