History
The IJHS was founded in 2009 by Professor Raywat Deonandan of the Interdisciplinary School of Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa, and Premal Patel the President of the Health Sciences Students’ Association. Mr Patel was also the journal’s first Editor-in-Chief.
Dr Deonandan continues to serve as the journal’s Executive Editor, responsible for the journal’s administrative and legal disposition. But all editorial and human resources matters are managed by the current Editor-in-Chief.
