Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Abstract for oral presentation only
Oral presentations are 10 minutes in length with 5 minutes for questions. All submissions undergo editorial review by the Scientific Program Committee. Reviewers rate each abstract using four criteria (Relevance, Significance, Clarity and Structure, Methodological Rigour) on a 1–5 scale. The Committee determines the final presentation format.
Abstract for poster presentation only
Poster presentations will be displayed during the designated poster session. Presenters are expected to be available at their poster to discuss their work with attendees. All submissions undergo editorial review by the Scientific Program Committee. Poster dimensions and display instructions will be communicated to accepted presenters.
Abstract for both oral and poster presentation formats
Authors who wish to have their abstract considered for either an oral or poster presentation may submit to this section. Oral presentations are 10 minutes in length with 5 minutes for questions. Poster presentations will be displayed during the designated poster session, and presenters are expected to be available to discuss their work with attendees.
All submissions undergo editorial review by the Scientific Program Committee. Reviewers rate each abstract using four criteria: Relevance, Significance, Clarity and Structure, and Methodological Rigour, on a 1–5 scale. The Committee will determine the final presentation format based on the review results and program considerations. Final presentation format decisions are at the discretion of the Committee.
