Abstract

This short essay examines Canada's environmental landscape, applauding progress while highlighting persistent challenges. Despite a shared vision for preservation, disjointed policies and jurisdictional disputes hinder unified action. Climate change exemplifies this divide, with some provinces embracing green initiatives while others lag behind. Moreover, challenges spanning international borders complicate matters further, requiring nuanced solutions. Indigenous communities, crucial stewards of the land, are often marginalized. Though recent collaborations show promise, national leadership is needed to forge a cohesive environmental strategy.
