FrançaisAbstract
This article first discusses the combination of theoretical approaches, situated at the intersection of the fields of political anthropology and environmental anthropology, that I have constructed in order to orient my thesis project. The subject of my thesis project is the reproduction of Quebec state institutions that are stakeholders in the mining sector, in the context of an aboriginal resurgence and the current climate crisis. This theoretical framework enables me to propose a critical definition of certain elements of the transnational socio-environmental context in which this research topic is situated. Secondly, I will illustrate how this theoretical framework can be used to problematize one of the topics analyzed in my thesis project: the impact-benefit agreements (IBAs).
