Policy Enforcement
All policy requirements must be met by submissions describing clinical research and/or research on human subject. Failure to satisfy requirements will be sufficient to reject the manuscript. If issues are identified post publication, correction or retraction may be issued as appropriate.
Clinical Studies
All studies conducted involving human subjects must be conducted according to the principles listed in the Declaration of Helsinki.
Patient Privacy
Authors must avoid providing patient identifying information unless strictly deemed to be necessary for the submission.
Informed consent from patients
In the case that identifying informational is deemed essential for submission, Informed consent provided by the patient should be provided with submission of the article. Refer to UOJM template for informed consent forms.
Cell Lines
To enhance research reproducibility, the origin and source of cell lines used in research must be explained in the submitted article.
